ICE Poker 1 Year Anniversary

It's ICE Poker's 1 year anniversary this upcoming week!

What a year it's been — it's amazing to see how much ICE Poker has evolved since our genesis wearable drop.

To celebrate, we'll be holding a 1 year anniversary tournament and hosting events with special edition POAPs. Stay tuned for more details.

ICE Poker Flex Updates

On Thursday, we pushed exciting new ICE Poker Flex updates:

Gameplay enhancements
Updated prize structure
Event set up enhancements
Bug fixes

Gameplay Enhacements

Cut down the amount of time between each hand
Cut down the time each player has to make an action from 15 seconds to 12 seconds
Improved the win animation to reflect the amount of chips you won, rather than the total pot size

Overall the game feels much snappier and these updates allow you to play significantly more hands.

Updated Prize Structure

Thanks to community feedback, we updated the prize structure.

For 3 Shine tournaments:

1st place wins 2 badges and a re-shine
2nd place wins 1 badge

Event Set Up Enhancements

Moving forward, we won't need to enter Maintenance Mode to set up our ICE Poker Flex events such as Super Shine Wednesday. Yay!

Bug Fixes

We fixed over 10 different bugs related to All-In scenarios, onboarding, and other gameplay issues.

Credit Card Checkout

No crypto? No problem.

Introducing: credit card checkout.

Now you can buy Tournament wearables with your card and start playing Sit-n-Go tournaments in under a few minutes.

This is a huge step in reducing friction and improving onboarding for new ICE Poker players 🫡

Other Highlights

We announced a Tournament wearable partnership with Blvck Paris.
We added a new Governance Forum in our Discord. Now DG DAO members can post ideas and have organized discussions around various proposals.
We saw a 92% increase in daily tournaments played on Hyper Turbo Tuesday.
Our in-game ecosystem is looking significantly better: October's MTD burn-to-earn is 71%!
